BJAAM is pleased to present this entry level, full time, opportunity for a qualified candidate to start employment in the environmental contracting sector as a “Junior Staff Accountant”.

 

BJAAM’s headquarters is in Canal Fulton, Ohio, about twenty minutes southwest of Akron, Ohio. Additional offices are in Beaver, PA, and in Newport, KY.  This is a full-time hourly position located at our headquarter office with benefits as described below.

 

This opportunity requires a residence within fifty miles of the office (i.e., the later within thirty days after hire).  BJAAM also requires selected applicants to comply with a “Drug Free Workplace Policy” prior to permanent placement.  All positions are considered probationary for six (6) months.  Additional requirements and qualifications are described below.

 

Purpose and Duties:

BJAAM is looking for a qualified applicant with an accounting and administrative background to join our company.  The selected applicant will be assigned various tasks such as invoicing, insurance claim preparation, and other miscellaneous administrative duties.

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor degree or higher in accounting or business administration is required.  Practical work experience during an internship or record of non-related employment (with references) is also required.  Candidate must also have a working knowledge with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word and Excel.

 

Additional Administrative Duties:

Copying, data entry, invoicing, answering phones, report compilation, etc.

 

Skills Summary:

Diligent work scheduling, social media skills, attention to detail, reporting results, communication skills, team work.

 

Benefits:

Overtime pay for hours worked over forty hours/week*, two weeks paid leave per year*, and health insurance where company pays 50% of the costs*.
