Ohio and Pennsylvania each have government reimbursement funds allocated for underground storage tank (UST) release clean-up. Formed in 1989, the Ohio Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Release Compensation Board (PUSTRCB) issues insurance claim funds through the Petroleum Financial Assurance Fund, commonly called “the Fund.” The Pennsylvania Insurance Department has been managing insurance claims since 1994 through the Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund (USTIF).

BJAAM has an excellent record for receiving maximum client reimbursement from insurance claims for UST clean-up. The filing process for UST investigations and remediation is extremely complex. To receive proper compensation from PUSTRCB or PA USTIF, claims must be filed on time using specific formats. BJAAM’s project managers and accounting staff have the validated expertise to correctly administer these complicated insurance claims and forms. We facilitate several million dollars of PUSTRCB and PA USTIF reimbursement funds back to our clients each year.
